A empresa nasce em 2002 por vontade do seu sócio único. O objectivo primário é de continuar o trabalho de divulgação e promoção dos produtos Maccaferri. Foi em 1988, na sua primeira viagem a Portugal, que Enrico Piolanti se apercebeu do grande potencial que o país tinha relativamente à utilização de Gabiões, Colchões Reno e outros produtos, no campo da Hidráulica e da Geotecnia.

Em 1990 Enrico Piolanti muda-se para Portugal de modo a seguir mais de perto a evolução das aplicações dos produtos no país e apoiar, duma forma mais eficaz, todas aquelas entidades que necessitam dos seus serviços (donos de obra, empreiteiros, projectistas). Em 2004 a Maccaferri abre a sua filial e entrega à ENRICO PIOLANTI Lda, até 2009, a direcção técnica e comercial.

No domínio da construção Civil, Enrico Piolanti assume, em 1997, a função de agente da empresa italiana Lorenzon Tecmech System para a divulgação e comercialização de sistemas de Fachadas Cortina.

No mesmo ano inicia a primeira obra da Lorenzon Techmec System em Lisboa: O Hotel Tivoli Tejo. Seguir-se-ão em 2002 e 2003 outros dois importantes empreendimentos: as novas sedes da Vodafone e do Banco BNC (hoje Banco Popular) ambas em Lisboa.

Enrico Piolanti trabalhou entre 1975 e 1986, no campo da Engenharia, nos seguintes países: Itália, Turquia, Irão, Burundi, Nigéria, Moçambique, Paquistão, Camarões, Líbia, Benin, Tunísia e Somália. Entre 1987 e 1990, ao serviço da Maccaferri, como Área Manager dos seguintes países: Portugal, Bélgica, Luxemburgo, Holanda, Suíça e alguns países de África.

The company was founded in 2002 by the will of its sole shareholder. The primary objective is to continue the technical and promotional work of Maccaferri products. It was in 1998 in his first trip to Portugal, that Enrico Piolanti realized the great potential of the country in the use of Gabions, Reno Mattresses and other products in the field of hydraulic and geotechnical engineering.

In 2004 Maccaferri opened its subsidiary and, until 2009, ENRICO PIOLANTI Ltd was in charge of its technical and commercial management.

In the field of civil construction, Enrico Piolanti is brought in, in 1997, as agent of the Italian company Lorenzon Tecmech System for promotion and marketing of curtain walls systems.

In the same year began the first job of Lorenzon Techmec System in Lisbon: Hotel Tivoli Tejo. Subsequently two other important jobs in 2002 and 2003: the new headquarters of Vodafone and BNC Bank (now Banco Popular), both in Lisbon.
